We compiled and analyzed the statistical data of hospitalized patients in the comprehensive tertiary-level A hospital in Shenzhen in 1999, and analyzed the disease composition and common diseases. 1 Material and method analysis materials were sourced from the 1999 annual report submitted by the city’s comprehensive tertiary-level hospital to the Municipal Health Bureau. In 1999, a total of 33,765 hospitalized patients were discharged, including 1389 non-patients (normal delivery), and 323 patients with the disease.
