“统计初步”是现行初中代数教材中自成体系的一章,也是整个初中代数的最后部分内容。就其内容来说,涉及的是如何收集、整理、计算、分析数据,从而作出推断的一门科学。不少学生都认为这部分内容在初中阶段不占重要地位,没有很好去学习掌握它。实际上,在当今市场经济的信息时代里,善于收集信息,进行整理、计算、分析处理,然后作出判断,对处理工作业务和日常生活都有十分重要的意义。近年来全国各地中考题中有关“统计初步”的这类试题呈直线上升趋
“Preliminary statistics” is a self-contained chapter in current junior middle school algebra textbooks, and it is also the last part of the entire junior middle school algebra. As far as its content is concerned, it involves a science of how to collect, sort, calculate, and analyze data to make inferences. Many students believe that this part of the content does not occupy an important position in the junior high school and does not learn to master it. In fact, in the information age of today’s market economy, it is of great importance to be good at collecting information, collating, calculating, analyzing and processing, and then making judgments. In recent years, examination questions related to “statistical preliminary” in the examination papers in various parts of the country have risen steadily.
