绿色通道工程是我区国土绿化的重要组成部分，对于构筑我国北部的生态屏障具有重大意义。我区自１９７８年启动京包——包兰铁路防护林体系建设工程以来，经过２０多年的努力，绿色通道纵横交错，遍布内蒙古大地。它不仅提高了我区的森林覆盖率和绿化、美化档次，还改善了农牧业生产条件，促进了农牧民脱贫致富，并成为展示地方经济、环境与资源协调发展的“窗口工程”、“形象工程”。在此，我刊特编发一组文章，让人们了解铁路、公路、水利等部门干部职工在建设绿色通道工程中所做出的贡献。
Green Passage Project is an important part of our country’s afforestation and has great significance for building the ecological barrier in the northern part of our country. Since 1978, when the Beijing-Baotou-Baotou-Lanzhou Shelterbelt Project was started, after 20 years of hard work, the Green Passage has been criss-crossing its way across the earth in Inner Mongolia. It not only improved the forest coverage and afforestation in our region, beautified the grade, but also improved the production conditions of agriculture and animal husbandry, promoted the peasants and herdsmen to get out of poverty and became the “window project” to show the coordinated development of local economy, environment and resources. “Image Engineering”. Here, I specially issue a series of articles to make people understand the contribution made by railroad, highway, water conservancy and other cadres and workers in the construction of the green channel project.
