战争是人类本质力量最高的表现形式,人类通过战争这一特殊的对象化表现形式,达到全面而深刻的自我观照,而对象化过程的惨烈背景、使人们对战争感到震颤、惊奇、崇仰和敬畏、这是战争之于人类的美学意义。而正是这种美学意义,造就了世界文学史上一大批军事文学的优秀作品。中西方军事文学由于军事思想、文化传统等的不同,在作品内容和艺术方面存在着很大的差异。应当在中西方古代军事文学作品的对比观照中,探讨中西军事文学作品的差异及其产生的原因。

Due to the difference of military thought and cultural tradition, the military literature in China and the West has great differences in content and art. The differences between the Chinese and Western military literature and their causes should be explored in the contrast between Chinese and Western ancient military literature.
