由于近年来水上的油污染日趋严重,西德造船界在联邦政府的支持下从1977年开始研制一种双体的水上浮油回收船。它不但能在近船、港口和内河作业,而且也能在恶劣的天气下在海上作业。 这项研制工作由C.L?hring船厂具体负责设计研制,同时,在汉堡工程技术局的积极支持下,使这项研制工作取得了很大的成绩。1979年6月,相继在墨西哥湾的多巴哥岛前沿发生油轮相撞和在德国海湾的赫尔果兰岛前沿发生油轮与货船相撞事
Due to the worsening oil pollution on water in recent years, the West German shipbuilding community started to develop a catamaran floating oil recovery vessel from 1977 with the support of the federal government. Not only can it operate near and in harbors and in rivers, but it can also be operated at sea during inclement weather. This research and development work was carried out by C.L.Hring Shipyard and was actively supported by the Engineering and Technology Bureau of Hamburg. This development made great achievements.
