公路路面层厚度是公路质量监测的重点之一,基层和底基层的质量评价,公路的维护更是繁重而长期。许多情况下,公路破坏始于层面或基层中出现空洞或充水,而此时路面上毫无痕迹,因而不易觉察。这些空洞或积水,随着冬冰夏融,热胀冷缩,加上重车不断冲压,最终造成路面龟裂,大面积脱层。甚至坍塌。以往的路面厚度检测多于依赖传统的钻孔取芯实地取样的检测方法。此方法不仅对路面具有较大的破坏性,而且不具有有效的代表性。文章阐述了一项新型的路面厚度检测技术——探地雷达测厚技术。此项技术具有准确性、连续性、无破坏性等特点。在昌九技术改造项目中较好的控制了工程质量。
