在美国大约100年前在柑桔中出现了发生缺铜症的问题。最初原因尚不清楚,但通过土壤中施入硫酸铜,症状消失。缺铜症被认识是大约40年前的事。我国(指日本)至今对缺铜症的认识还不清楚,1968年秋在三重县的蜜柑园观察到认为是缺铜症的症状,因而进行现场调查,对叶、枝条、果实、细根调查和土壤分析的结果,才认识清楚缺铜症的问题。这种症状在广岛、法岛县的八朔蜜柑、三重、香川县的温州蜜柑中也有发现。
About 100 years ago in the United States there was a problem of copper deficiency in citrus. The initial reason is not yet clear, but the symptoms disappear by applying copper sulphate in the soil. Copper deficiency is recognized as something about 40 years ago. My understanding of copper deficiency disease remains unclear till now in our country (referring to Japan). In the autumn of 1968, it was observed that it was a symptom of lack of copper disease in Mogan Garden in Mie Prefecture. Therefore, a field survey was conducted to investigate leaf and shoots, fruits, fine roots and The results of soil analysis, only recognize the problem of lack of copper disease. This symptom is also found in Satsuma matsu of Matsushima, Fushima, Mie, and Satsuma of Kashgar in Hiroshima.
