那一年,我在小学任班主任。临近期末,校长要求班主任认真写学生评语,写好后交他检查。如发现错别字,他将圈点出来,责成班主任重写,免得外人议论教师素质低。我谨慎地写完交给了他,他还给我后,我发现改动很少,偶尔漏掉的字,他补上了。但他将我写的“再接再厉”中的“厉”字都改成了“励”。我既吃惊又觉得正常--的确有很多人都习惯写作“再接再励”。我是语文教师,用字较为留心,曾多次查词
