淞沪会战是中国抗日战争中最为壮烈的战役之一,战争期间各地军队踊跃参战、前仆后继、保家卫国;中共中央发动和领导群众以各种形式支援前线,共赴国难;共产党放弃前嫌,促成国共合作,建立抗日民族统一战线。淞沪抗战中涌现的许许多多可歌可泣的爱国事迹,表现了中国人民伟大的爱国主义精神,鼓舞着当时全国人民的抗战热情,也激励着一代代中华儿女继续为祖国和平和统一不断奋斗。
