从甘草中提得甘草酸,并制成甘草酸钙。在动物实验中发现其对链霉素的毒性具有一定的解毒能力。给小鼠和家兔注射致死剂量的链霉素时,用甘草酸钙能明显提高存活率。甘草酸和甘草酸钙还能对抗链霉素所致的前庭功能障碍。
Glycyrrhizic acid is extracted from licorice and made into calcium glycyrrhizinate. It has been found in animal experiments that its toxicity to streptomycin has a certain ability to detoxify. When mice and rabbits were injected with a lethal dose of streptomycin, calcium glycyrrhizinate significantly improved survival. Glycyrrhizic acid and calcium glycyrrhizinate can also combat streptomycin-induced vestibular dysfunction.
