日本 Nisshin 钢公司在研究了各种定氧探头的固体电解质、参比电极和熔池电极后,研制出一种新的定氧探头。它可在几个ppm 至1000ppm 的范围内精确测量钢液中的氧活度。传统的定氧探头其缺点是石英管熔化分解(SiO_2=Si+2O),故此种探头在小于50ppm的低氧范围内测量有困难。新的定氧探头采用一端封闭的 MgO 稳定的 ZrO_2管作为固体电极,通过对 ZrO(MgO)相成份分析表明,该电极具有良好的抗热震性。此外,为防止软化使用经过热处理的 Cr-Cr_2O_3标准电极。探头的外面用一铁圈来防止感应电流的干扰,并作为熔池电极。
Nisshin Steel of Japan developed a new oxygen probe after studying the solid electrolyte, reference electrode and bath electrode for various oxygen probes. It accurately measures oxygen activity in molten steel over the range of a few ppm to 1000 ppm. The traditional oxygen probe has the disadvantage that the quartz tube melts and decomposes (SiO 2 = Si + 2O), so the probe has difficulty in measuring in the low-oxygen range of less than 50 ppm. The new oxygen probe uses MgO stabilized ZrO 2 tube with one end closed as the solid electrode. The composition of the ZrO (MgO) phase shows that the electrode has good thermal shock resistance. In addition, Cr-Cr 2 O 3 standard electrodes that have been heat-treated are used to prevent softening. Outside the probe with a ferrite ring to prevent the interference of the induced current, and as a pool electrode.
