Methods The study was divided into acute infection group (2 weeks, 4 weeks and 8 weeks after infection), control group (corresponding to infection group and feeding environment). The degree of intestinal pathological damage was determined. The percentage of CD 4 + / CD 25 + T cells in CD 4+ lymphocytes in peripheral blood and intestinal lamina propria lymphocytes. Results (1) Inflammatory score of various parts of intestinal tract in model animals at 2 weeks after infection was significantly higher than that in normal group (2.85 ± 0.22 at terminal ileum, 2.66 ± 0.27 at proximal colon, 2.43 ± 0.19 at distal colon, P <0.05) Inflammation score was lower than that of the 2-week group, but still higher than that of the normal group; it returned to normal after 8 weeks of infection. (2) The percentage of Treg in peripheral blood decreased significantly after 2 weeks of infection (3.91 ± 0.15 vs 2.28 ± 0.13, P <0.01), with a decrease of 41.7%. At 4 weeks after modeling, the percentage of Treg in peripheral blood was still lower than that in the normal control group (3.91 ± 0.15 vs 3.01 ± 0.14, P <0.01). After 8 weeks of successful model induction, the proportion of blood Tregs (CD 4 + CD 25 + / CD 4+) tended to be normal (3,48 ± 0.15, 0.01
0.05). Conclusion Trichinella spiralis acute infection induced irritable bowel syndrome model, the regulation of T cell levels decreased. The involvement of Treg may be related to the occurrence of PI-IBS.
