一次,笔者有幸同督学们一起到学校转转,看看学校的图书室、阅览室。发现学校图书馆(室)中典范者有之,所存书籍质优量大,微机管理,借阅率高,确实发挥了藏书育人的作用。然而,发现较普遍的是,相当一部分学校自1995年“普九”验收时按最低标准配备的图书之后,几年来很少添置或者从未添置图书,且无论是小学或中学,少得可怜的图书却常年尘封,“素蟫灰丝时蒙卷轴”。取下几本,弹云浮尘,看去虽然是出版时间较长,却本本崭新。查询使用情况,自图书上架后,别说老师和学生借阅,就连图书管理员恐怕也未曾动弹过。
