在国际经济领域,跨国公司和外国直接投资活动正发挥着越来越重要的作用。最新的估计显示,外国直接投资的流出存量在过去20年增加了6倍。跨国公司生产了世界GDP的1/10和世界出口的1/3。2001年跨国公司的海外雇员数达到了5400万人,销售额达到近19万亿美元,为同年世界出口的两倍。
In the international economy, multinational corporations and foreign direct investment activities are playing an increasingly important role. The latest estimates show that the outflow of foreign direct investment has increased sixfold over the past two decades. MNCs produced 1/10 of the world’s GDP and 1/3 of the world’s exports. In 2001, the number of overseas employees of multinational corporations reached 54 million with sales of nearly 19 trillion U.S. dollars, double the world’s exports in the same year.
