Recently, the tobacco functional genomics team of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Tobacco Functional Genomics team made new progress on cell wall polysaccharide metabolism swollenin gene, the relevant results were published in “Plant Cell Reports”, “Molecular Genetics and Genomics (Molecular Genetics and Genomics ”, Academic Journal. Tobacco is an important cash crop in China. The cell wall material is the main component of tobacco leaf. The structure and composition of cell wall determine the looseness of tobacco leaf, which is closely related to the flammability, harmfulness and smoking absorption of tobacco leaf. How to improve the smoke
