春节前夕,突然传来沈克琦先生逝世的消息,令人悲痛莫名。沈克琦先生是我国物理教育战线的一位主将,更是北京大学物理系建设的功臣。他的逝世,使无数北大物理系学子陷入悲痛之中。我是1957年考入北大物理系的。1958年底物理系分为物理、无线电电子和地球物理三个系后,沈先生担任物理系负责教学和科研的副主任,在物理系里召开的大会上,第一次听到他关于物理系培养目标的讲话,他细致入微的介绍和儒雅风格给我留下了深刻印象。沈先生曾经给我们年级上过物理光学课,可惜那时我因病休学,无缘受到他的直接教诲。记得在学校学习的六年间,唯一一次
On the eve of the Spring Festival, the sudden news of the passing of Mr. Shen Keqi is saddening. Mr. Shen Keqi is one of the main masters of physical education in our country and even a contributor to the construction of the physics department of Peking University. His death has left countless Peking University physics students in grief. I was admitted to Peking University Department of Physics in 1957. After the division of physics into three departments of physics, radio electronics and geophysics at the end of 1958, Mr. Shen served as the deputy director of teaching and research for the Department of Physics.
