唐古特青兰水提液灌胃或腹腔注射,通过小鼠密闭缺氧和减压缺氧实验,表明有耐缺氧作用,在特高海拔4700m地区取样测定大、小白鼠红细胞SOD活性,揭示有提高机体歧化过氧阴离子能力;模拟海拔6000m实验条件,测定小鼠肝脏脂质过氧化产物MDA、血红蛋白,血球压积,显示有抗肝脏脂质过氧化作用,降低异常增高的血红蛋白和血球压积作用。以上实验结果揭示唐古特青兰耐缺氧作用部分是通过抗氧自由基起的。
