网络自制剧是视频网站公司主控投资、制作、发行、传播的一种新媒体影视形态,其实质是新媒体公司盈利模式的拓展。资本、广告商、规制等多重压力促使视频网站产生内容合法化的要求。2014年以来,由于版权成本的暴增,视频网站转而将投资网络自制剧项目作为拓展盈利模式的策略之一,网络自制剧产量逐年增长。通过运作网络自制剧项目,视频网站公司实现了其影视传播的商品化和空间化,并参与改变了中国语境中新媒体与传统媒体之间的权力关系调整。
Network home-made drama is a form of new media and video that investment, production, distribution and dissemination of a video website company controls.
