小学美术教育是义务教育必修的一门艺术类课程,教育部门将美术立为小学必修课程旨在从小培养学生的审美情趣和形成高尚的审美品味,在美术教育中鼓励学生开散式地思考,但许多教师为了追求培养学生的高尚的审美品味的目标片面地在美术课程教学中要求学生临摹许多名家的作品,在启发小学生的想象力、鼓励学生散发式思维方面的教学投入少得可怜,这是小学美术教师普遍存在的教学误识。
