郭老的《甲申三百祭》写于一九四四年。表面看来,郭老是以文为祭。追念李自成等起义英雄的丰功伟绩,实则是以惋惜的心情,总结李自成失败的教训,让正在进行着的人民革命斗争引以为戒。郭老一反剥削阶级史家的偏见,对酿成这幕巨大的历史悲剧的原因作出了中肯精当的分析,并归纳了三点极其深刻也是极为宝贵的教训,一是政略发生错误;二是胜利冲昏头脑;三是内部团结不好。文章理直据凿、彰善瘅恶、鞭辟入里,不愧为史论中的绝笔。
Guo Lao’s “Jiaosu 300 Festival” was written in 1944. On the face of it, Guo always regards the text as a sacrifice.
