Ovarian clear cell carcinomas (CCCs) are ovarian surface epithelial tumors that are most often confused with primary germ cell tumors, and are particularly difficult to differentiate from yolk sac tumor (YST) and dysgerminoma. It has been confirmed that OTC3 / 4 is a sensitive and specific marker of dysgerminoma, but the markers used to diagnose YST are still limited.
