西瓜、棉花间作配套技术,是由传统的西瓜单作和西瓜、玉米间作形式改革而来的。1981年以来,我们通过对西瓜、棉花间作套种,总结出西瓜、棉花间作配套技术。1984年千亩示范田,平均亩产西瓜4,175斤,产值626.25元,棉花平均亩产210.1斤,产值357.8元,瓜、棉合计亩产值974.05元,比西瓜、玉米间作亩增产值564.06元。该项技术于1984年10月通过省级鉴定。一、技术要点(一)选用优质、高产品种西瓜应选用早熟、优质品种,通过三年的试验筛选,庆丰表现最好。在覆膜条件下全生育期70—75天,皮薄韧性强、耐调运,一般亩产5,000斤左右。在棉花品种试验筛选中,选用冀棉八号做为瓜、棉间作的配套品种较理想,该品种
