本文应用心理学“抑制”理论分析大学生“哑巴英语”发生的心理机制,对大学生英语口语抑制行为的存在性、发生频率、行为表现、产生原因以及解决办法等进行了问卷调查分析。研究结果表明:本族语文化限制、跨文化交际意识淡薄、明确自我界定等是口语抑制的主要原因;培养跨文化交际心态、各类教学任务的精心设计不失为缓解或消除这一现象的良策。
This paper applies psychology “inhibition ” theory to analyze the psychological mechanism of college students “dumb English ” and conducts a questionnaire survey on the existence, frequency, behavior, causes and solutions of college students’ . The results show that: the limitations of native language culture, the weak awareness of intercultural communication and the clear self-definition are the main reasons for the suppression of oral English; cultivating a cross-cultural communication mentality and careful design of various teaching tasks are good strategies for alleviating or eliminating this phenomenon.
