我县危害林木的土栖白蚁,主要是黑翅土白蚁和黄翅大白蚁两种。现初步查明,这两种白蚁的菌圃上都有菌类共生。和黄翅大白蚁菌圃共生的菌类是鸡纵菌(Collybia albumino-sa),土名叫桐树菇;和黑翅土白蚁菌圃共生的菌类是长根菇(Collybia radicata),土名叫丁子菇。经初步鉴定,鸡纵菌和长根菇均属白磨科、长根菇属。两种菌类的形态相似:都有一个硕大的菌体,菌盖灰白色,大块纵裂,菌褶稠密,菌柄粗壮、内实、纤维质、具脆骨质表层,常扭曲。菌柄地下部分较长,连在白蚁菌圃上。它们的主要区别在于:
