德国出生的著名实验理论家斯特恩 ,早期主要从事统计力学和量子理论方面的工作 ,后来转到了分子束方法研究 ,他和他的学生们完成了气体动力理论的基本假设、空间量子化、多原子的磁矩、质子的磁矩等众多实验测量 ,取得了丰硕成果 ;1 943年 ,他由于在发展分子束方法上所作的贡献和发现了质子的磁矩而获得诺贝尔物理学奖 .本文主要阐述了斯特恩科学研究的特点和风格 ,为我们的科研工作提供有益的启示 .
Stern, a famous experimental theorist born in Germany, was mainly engaged in the work of statistical mechanics and quantum theory in the early stage. Later he went to the molecular beam method research. He and his students completed the basic assumptions of the theory of gas dynamics, Many experimental measurements of the magnetic moment of polyatoms and the magnetic moment of protons have yielded fruitful results. In 1943, he obtained the Nobel Prize in Physics for his contribution to the development of molecular beam methods and the discovery of the magnetic moment of protons. This paper mainly expounds the characteristics and style of Stern science research, which provide useful enlightenment for our research work.
