German Steel Institute President, Dr. Uperman brief report on the German steel industry situation. Analyzed the economic development and market forecast of world steel production and put forward effective adaptation measures to improve the productivity and competitiveness of the domestic steel industry. This paper reviews some recent developments in the German steel industry in the Federal Republic of Germany, including some examples of technological innovations such as sintering, blast furnace, oxygen steelmaking, continuous casting and environmental protection. It proposes special plans for the iron and steel industry to ensure that the Federal German steel industry in the world status.
