李霁野是鲁迅先生亲手扶持成长起来的著名作家、翻译家和教育家。笔者在他生前,与我馆同仁一起拜访过他;后又查阅了他捐赠我馆的珍贵图书,从他的言行中,不仅深受教育,而且深深感到,李霁野在鲁迅生前或逝世以后的漫长岁月中,无不显示了对鲁迅似海的深情和真挚的情谊。李霁野对鲁研事业,始终关怀备至。为纪念鲁迅先生逝世五十周年,上海鲁迅纪念馆将出版《高山仰止——鲁迅逝世五十周年纪念集》。1985年冬,笔者与史伯英、秦海琦去天津拜访了李霁野。由于相隔两地,联系甚少,初次拜访,难免心中有些顾虑。但出乎意外,李先生十分热情,对上海鲁迅纪念馆的工作极为关心。
Mr. Li Xunye is a well-known writer, translator and educator who is personally supported by Mr. Lu Xun. Before his death, the author visited him together with my colleague in the library. Later, he also read the precious books that he donated to our library. From his words and deeds, he not only got deep education, but also deeply felt that after Li Xunye was born or died of Lu Xun During the long years, all of them showed affectionate and sincere feelings toward Lu Xun. To commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Mr. Lu Xun, Shanghai Lu Xun Memorial Hall will publish the “High Mountain Yangzhi - the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Lu Xun Memorial.” In the winter of 1985, I went to Tianjin with Shi Boying and Qin Haiqi to visit Li Xunye. Due to the two places, with little contact, the first visit, it is inevitable that some concerns in mind. But unexpectedly, Mr. Li was very enthusiastic and extremely concerned about the work of Shanghai Lu Xun Memorial Hall.
