英语阅读是小学英语教学中的重要内容之一,也是小学生学习与应用英语的具体体现。重视小学生英语阅读能力的培养能够有效提升小学生的英语素养,帮助学生提高学习英语的自信,促进学生的英语学习。随着新课程改革的逐渐深化与发展,现阶段培养小学生的英语阅读能力不需要依靠书本知识的教学,需要额外增加小学生的阅读量。因此,就如何培养小学生的英语阅读能力提出了一些看法和建议。 English reading is an important part of English teaching in primary schools, and is also a concrete manifestation of primary school students’ learning and applying English. Emphasis on primary school English reading ability training can effectively improve the primary school students ’English literacy, to help students improve self-confidence to learn English and promote students’ English learning. With the gradual deepening and development of the new curriculum reform, primary school students ’English reading ability does not need to rely on the teaching of book knowledge at this stage, which requires an additional increase of primary school students’ reading volume. Therefore, some suggestions on how to cultivate primary school students’ English reading ability are put forward.
