The creative thinking defined by the American education community refers to the way of thinking that provides novel and valuable thinking results. It manifests itself in abundant imagination and associative power, ability to understand the world, comprehensive abstraction and sharp comprehension. It can give full play to the people from the chaotic things in the analysis, research, discovery of the law and the ability to solve problems. How to demonstrate the cultivation of innovative ability with innovative education, how to cultivate creative thinking ability of students and how to develop the innovative spirit of students is a very worthy question to be discussed. This article tries to explore some ways and ways of cultivating students’ creative thinking in the physics classes of American high schools from the following aspects.
