It is of great significance to do a systematic design of continuous downhill highway safety support system to ensure the safety of people’s lives and properties to the maximum extent. This paper summarizes the design method of continuous downhill road safety assurance system from aspects of geometric line design of highway and overall design of safety facilities, which can provide reference for similar projects.
