道教是中国的唯一本土教派。它植根于原始的巫傩信仰,并且一直没有抛弃“巫”的成份。从唐代中期开始,道教出现了上下两层的信仰群体。上层以士大夫为本,主要关心学术上的精神性内涵;下层以普通民众为基,注重道教的世俗功用。明清以降,道教呈现了一个由盛而衰、由上流而民间的转化过程,它开始与世俗社会极度融合,以至于平民百姓的日常生活中无处不在,无所不包。正如鲁迅先生所言:“中国根柢全在道教。”另外,中国人的信仰
Taoism is the only indigenous sect in China. It is rooted in the primitive Witch Faith, and has never abandoned the “Witch” ingredient. Since the middle of Tang Dynasty, Taoism has appeared in two layers of faith groups. The upper class is doctor-based, with the main concern for academic spiritual connotations. The lower class takes the ordinary people as the foundation and pays attention to the secular function of Taoism.
