北大荒版画发展至今已有三十年历程,它培育了三代新老作者近百余人,作品有数千幅,引起了美术界和广大群众的重视。在当今艺术观念多元化的潮流中,这个群众性业余美术群体仍然空前活跃。 50年代末,数万解放军官兵开垦亘古荒原,以张作良、晁楣为首的版画家,以拓荒精神克服重重困难,组成了早期北大荒美术队伍,开创了北大荒版画第一代群体。
The Great Northern Wilderness Print has been in development for 30 years. It has cultivated nearly 100 generations of old and new authors in three generations and has produced thousands of works, which has drawn the attention of the fine arts community and the general public. In the current trend of diversified artistic conception, this mass amateur art group is still unprecedentedly active. In the late 1950s, tens of thousands of PLA officers and men reclaimed the ancient wasteland. The painters headed by Zhang Zuoliang and Chao Mei met pioneers in the pioneering Beidahuang Fine Art team and pioneered the first generation of the Northern Wilderness Printmaking.
