从2000年到2008年,北京的轨道交通运行里程从114公里提高到近200公里,这是一个举世瞩目的成就。自北京奥运会成功举办至今,北京依旧没有停止轨道交通建设的步伐,反而在加快发展。到2015年,北京的轨道交通建设里程要达到561公里,到2020年要达到700公里。北京在未来的发展中,将会继续倡导以公共交通为主导的一体化综合交通体系的建设。那么,轨道交通建设是如何保障北京城市实现可持续发展目标的呢?带着这个疑问,我们走访了北京市规划委员会副主任周楠森。
From 2000 to 2008, Beijing’s rail transit mileage increased from 114 km to nearly 200 km, which is a remarkable achievement. Since the successful hosting of the Beijing Olympic Games, Beijing has still not stopped the pace of rail transit construction, but is accelerating development. By 2015, Beijing will have 561 kilometers of rail transit construction and 700 kilometers by 2020. In the future development of Beijing, Beijing will continue to advocate the construction of an integrated and comprehensive transportation system dominated by public transport. So, how is rail transit construction guaranteeing Beijing’s sustainable development? With this question, we visited Zhou Nansen, deputy director of Beijing Planning Commission.
