脑卒中是世界成年人残疾的主要原因.在中国每年约250万人新发脑卒中,有750万脑卒中幸存者,其中15％～30％的患者遗留终生残疾[1],且这些患者对医疗保健系统造成巨大的经济负担.临床观察及实验室研究发现感染与脑卒中的发生发展密切相关,本研究就感染与脑卒中在发生、发展中的作用作一综述.rn1 脑卒中前感染rn脑卒中流行病学表明约三分之一的脑卒中患者病因不明确[2],且目前已知的脑卒中危险因素(高血压病、糖尿病、吸烟、高脂血症等)长期稳定存在,无法解释脑卒中急性发作,提示存在未知的危险因素诱导急性脑卒中发生.研究表明,25％的缺血性脑卒中(Ischemic Strokes,IS)患者发病前4周内多有感染史[3],提示脑卒中前的近期感染与脑卒中的急性发生存在一定相关性.
