照片档案是国家机构、社会组织或个人在社会活动中直接形成的以静止摄影影像为主要反映方式的有保存价值的历史记录。随着现代社会文明程度的不断提高,信息读图时代的到来,社会生活节奏的加快和数码相机的出现,大量的照片产生,照片的利用率也在大幅度提高,其利用价值得到充分的展现。照片档案作为音像档案,由于自身的特殊性,在对其管理上也出现了新情况和新问题,亟需研究和解决。
Photo archives are the historical records of preserving value that take the still photography image as the main reflection form formed directly by the state agencies, social organizations or individuals in social activities. With the continuous improvement of the modern civilization, the arrival of the era of information reading, the accelerating pace of social life and the advent of digital cameras, a large number of photos are produced, the utilization rate of photos is also greatly increased, and its use value is fully demonstrated . As a video and audio file, photo archives has emerged new and new problems in its management due to its particularity, so it is urgent to study and solve it.
