广彩和外销密切有关的,由于外销的需要才诞生了广彩这一品种,广彩最初源于景德镇,广彩将传统的五彩、粉彩、珐琅彩的技法色料加以发展,将中国传统的绘画技艺同外国的明暗绘画技巧、外国风景图案等融入到广彩中,最终形成了特殊的风格特点。广彩的主要特点是运用我国织锦图案为瓷器装饰图案,融入了岭南画派及外国绘画风格技巧形成了具有广彩的构图特点,整体图案饱满丰富但又具有统一整体性、画面严谨有序、绘功精致细腻。在广彩颜色运用色彩丰富艳丽、金碧辉煌、织金满地,形成了广彩“堆金积玉”的独特风格。
