An interesting news has become the news of the recent media stir, “Beijing key supervision: public toilets can no longer call WC into Toilet”, the original public familiar “WC ” will be replaced by “Toilet ”. WC is the earliest expression of the toilet, the full name is water-closet (toilet), its meaning can basically be understood as what we Chinese that Mao Hang children, is a rough big slang. Abroad, WC has disappeared a few years ago, replaced by Toilet. The replacement of the former with the latter is a social progress, and from a certain angle shows that China is keeping up with the world.
