能力可分为一般能力和特殊能力。就教学而言,一般能力,是指人们在学习过程中应具有的带有普遍意义的本领,如阅读能力、理解能力、记忆能力、逻辑思维能力,表达能力等;特殊能力,是指根据各学科的特点而规定的具有独特意义的本领。历史教学培养的特殊能力,应该是:时空的想象能力、史实的辨析能力、对人物和事件的评价能力、认识历史发展规律的能力等。下面我们结合中学历史课的教学实践,对这些特殊能力的培养谈几点意见。
