YYF-1型油液质量快速分析仪自1991年5月研制成功,1992年5月正式获国家专利以来,已在全国许多企业中使用,反应良好。该仪器除灵敏度高、测试快捷、操作方便等优点外,其突出特点是采用了双传感器对称结构,对环境（温度、湿度）变化具有自动补偿作用,提高了监测精度和稳定性,这是国内外任何一种油质分析仪所不具备的特殊优点。该仪器在实际应用中,不仅大大提高了工作效率,而且节省了大量人力、物力和财力,是企业搞好润滑管理的得力工具。天津港务局几年来使用油质分析仪后深有体会,他们认识到,为了加强润滑管理,除合理选用油品外,加强润滑状态监测十分重要。目前他们已将定期换油改为按质换油,平均每年节约港机维修费用700多万元,获得了显著的经济效益。实践证明,我们研制生产的油质分析仪是快捷监测润滑油变质程度以确定是否换油的理想仪器。因此,越来越多的厂矿企业、油田、运输、港口、中外合资公司等不断来函来电,索取资料、说明书,准备购买该仪器,有些已经签了购货合同。
