英语阅读能力是英语实践能力的重要标志。培养学生的阅读能力不仅是中学英语教学的目的之一,也是培养学生自学能力的重要手段,同时还是培养学生接受信息能力的重要途径。因此,在对学生进行听、说、读、写基本训练的同时,教师有必要着重培养学生的阅读能力。多年来,笔者在英语教学中对学生进行了以下几个方面的阅读技巧和方法指导。
English reading ability is an important symbol of English practical ability. Fostering students’ reading ability is not only one of the purposes of English teaching in secondary schools, but also an important means of cultivating students’ self-learning ability. At the same time, it is also an important way to cultivate students’ ability to receive information. Therefore, while listening, speaking, reading and writing students’ basic training, it is necessary for teachers to emphasize their reading ability. Over the years, the author in English teaching on the students conducted the following aspects of reading skills and methodological guidance.
