文章运用2009年中国健康与营养调查(China Health and Nutrition Survey)成人数据库的数据,对中国城市劳动力市场上的性别工资差异状况进行了经验分析。分解结果表明,男女之间的工资差异主要是由职业内的工资差异引起的,而城市劳动力市场上存在的性别歧视是造成男女工资差异的主要原因。
Using empirical data from the 2009 China Health and Nutrition Survey, an analysis of the gender wage disparity in China’s urban labor market is carried out. The decomposition results show that the wage gap between men and women is mainly caused by wage differences in occupations, while the gender discrimination in urban labor market is the main reason for the wage gap between men and women.
