文学翻译与其他类型的翻译不同,有其独特之处。翻译是艺术,是美化之艺术。在文学翻译的过程中,完全忠实于原文是无法实现的,必须综合考虑多方面因素。从美学的观点来看,文学翻译运用其独有的创造性,完成了对原著的替代。文学翻译实践中所产生的“不可译性”、不确定性等,决定了文学翻译的本质,便是其独有的创造性。这样,就要求译者本身具有更高的翻译能力,从而实现文学翻译的创造性。
Literary translation differs from other types of translation in its uniqueness. Translation is art, is the art of beautification. In the process of literary translation, it is impossible to be completely faithful to the original texts. We must consider various factors comprehensively. From an aesthetic point of view, literary translation uses its unique creativity to complete its replacement of the original. Literary translation practice produces “Untranslatability ”, uncertainty, etc., determines the essence of literary translation, is its unique creativity. In this way, the translator is required to have a higher ability to translate, so as to realize the creativity of literary translation.
