为了给本省罐藏加工桃的品种配套,应选育丰产稳产,贮运性能良好的早熟不溶质罐藏加工桃品种。我们于1977年进行桃的杂交育种,经过育苗、定植、观察和加工性能的比较,选育出黄肉、不溶质、粘核、丰产的早熟加工黄桃优系6-2-22。1990年6月通过省级鉴定,定名为浙金2号。1 选育经过浙金2号(原代号6-2-22)是以罐5为母本,连黄为父本杂交育成。1977年共配置14个组合进行有性杂交,获杂种苗306株,其中罐5×连黄组合获杂种苗22株。1978-1979年在浙江农科院果园育苗,1980年定植于杭州种猪场长命4队果园,1981年开始结果。1982年正式入选为优良单株,1986年建立多点试种园。经6a(年)的母本树及2a
