本文研究了美国黑人诗人兰斯顿·休斯在20世纪50到60年代美国极端政治气候下的诗歌艺术与政治的关系,认为在麦卡锡主义和冷战思维的重压之下,体斯采取“艺术先于政治”的诗学观旨在回避现实的政治锋芒,寓政治于艺术之中。文章还阐释了休斯此期诗学观形成的政治动因与理论基础,并探讨了其诗学观所体现的美学原则与创作策略。
This paper studies the relationship between poetic art and politics of American black poet Langston Hughes in the extreme political climate of the United States in the 1950s and 1960s and holds that under the weight of McCarthyism and the Cold War mentality, Art prior to politics "poetics view is to evade the political realities of the realities, and politics in art. The article also explains the political motivation and theoretical foundation of Hughes’ poetics and discusses the aesthetic principles and creative strategies embodied in his poetics.
