广岛造船研究所研制出一种应用电磁感应测温法测定结晶器液面的探测器。这种探测器采用热敏磁性材料TSMM。用几块TSMM材料焊在结晶器铜壁外表面上,以其导磁率的变化在其相应线圈中引起的电磁现象来测定结晶器内的钢液面。该探测器的优点是:1.没有热电偶引线,可使结晶器更换方便;2.价廉;3.没有γ射线的危害。
Hiroshima Shipbuilding Research Institute has developed a kind of application of electromagnetic induction thermometry method for measuring the liquid level of the detector. This detector uses the thermal magnetic material TSMM. Several TSMM materials are welded to the outer surface of the copper wall of the mold to determine the molten steel level in the mold by the electromagnetic phenomena caused by the change of its permeability in its corresponding coil. The advantages of the detector are: 1. There is no thermocouple lead, mold replacement can make it easy; 2. cheap; 3. no gamma rays harm.
