中央关于制定国民经济和社会发展第七个五年计划的建议中指出:要把汽车制造业作为重要支柱产业,争取有一个较大的发展。汽车工业的大发展,对机械工业尤其是机床行业会提出更高的要求,它必将促进机床行业的优先发展,促使机床行业提供有较高机械加工工艺能力的、具有七十年代未、八十年代初水平的金属切削和锻压设备,以适应我国汽车工业发展的需要。为此,我们对二个汽车厂的机加工设备现状作了一次调查。

It will certainly promote the priority development of the machine tool industry, and promote the machine tool industry to provide higher machining process capability, with the 1970s and the 8th. The early decade of metal cutting and forging equipment to meet the needs of the development of China’s auto industry. To this end, we conducted a survey of the status quo of the machining facilities of the two automobile plants.
