铁路信号已经有了一百多年的发展历史。本文首先综述铁路信号第一功能——保证行车安全——的发展质变过程,继而分析了铁路信号第二功能——提高运输效率——的发展过程。由于近十多年来微型计算机的飞速发展,铁路运输自动化又需要大量运行信息,因此作者在文中第一次提出现在已经有需要和可能发展铁路信号第三功能——铁路运行信息的实时采集和初步处理,这需要结合利用铁路信号传感器与微型计算机。作者在文中指出实现铁路信号第三功能的两种途径和方法。
The railway signal has a hundred years of development history. This paper first summarizes the development of the first function of railway signal - to ensure traffic safety - and then analyzes the development of the second function of railway signal - to improve the efficiency of transportation. Due to the rapid development of microcomputers in recent ten years, the automation of railway transportation requires a lot of operational information. Therefore, the author first proposed in the article that there is now a need to develop and possibly develop the third function of railway signals: real-time collection and analysis of railway operation information and The initial treatment, which requires the use of a combination of railway signal sensors and microcomputers. In the article, the author points out two ways and methods to realize the third function of railway signal.
