我厂用于冷变形模具的主要合金模具钢为Cr12MoV。长期以来,由于模具寿命不高,既浪费了许多昂贵的模具材料又影响了产品质量,也给完成生产任务造成了许多困难。为此,我们组织了专门的攻关小组,分析了原因,认为在原材料的锻造上把好关,也是提高模具寿命的重要途径。我厂所用的这种高合金工具钢材料普遍都存在着带状、网状的莱氏体粗大共晶碳化物。这种碳化物偏析又随着原材料直径的加大而加大。我们做了几种钢坯直径的碳化物偏析的金相检验(见表1)。其级别
