On October 30, 2014, 863 Program “Coupling and Controlling Techniques of Crop Habitat Process” held a promotion meeting in Yangling, Shaanxi Province. Subject experts reviewed and promoted the implementation of the project. Research on the coupling and regulation of crop habitats has great significance for creating healthy crop habitats, improving the utilization efficiency of major habitat factors such as water, fertilizer and light, and continuously improving crop productivity. The project is led by Northwest A & F University, and the team of 18 key science and education units and enterprises in China is in charge of the project.
