Lesson46 Your Future and English是初中冀教版英语Book3,Unit6第六课。本单元的中心话题是“I Love Learning English”(我爱学英语),通过告诉学生在全世界有众多的人在说英语和学英语,他们也是其中的一部分,从而让学生们也参与进来。同时还介绍了英语在各行业中使用的情况,以及学习英语知识会给他们提供的各种机会。通过故事,报道性文章和任务型教学,让学生们思考学习英语的方法和策略。
本课是阅读课,谈及学生的将来与英语密不可分,学好英语可以帮学生在将来找到一份好工作。而在现实生活中,有许多工作都需要英语,例如,翻译,外交官,商人,电脑程序员,科学家,记者…。从而让学生明确英语的重要性,要热爱学英语,以便为将来打好基础。

Step I Speak and Lead in:
T:What languages can you speak?
Ss:English and Chinese.
T:Good.Where can you see English words in our life?(show some pictures to help Ss)

T:Well done!I am an English teacher.I often use English.Do other people use English?
(Play a guessing game“which job”,and teach new words.)
Then ask:What jobs need English?(讓学生各抒己见)
T: Wonderful! Many jobs need English.So, you see, learning English is very important. Good English can help you find a good job in the future. Today we will learn Lesson 46 Your Future and English.
Step II Reading
1.Get the students to listen to the text and answer the following question.
T: Listen to the tape and answer the question shown. While listening, you should pay more attention to the information about the question.
What jobs need English?
2. Read carefully and fill in the table:(work in groups)
(让学生阅读时指导方法:先略读注意黑体字的单词,即下列表格中工作栏;再细读该黑体单词后的详细内容,即下表中原因栏;最后找到答案。)

六、教学反思
基于对教材的熟悉,在本堂课中我的教学目的明确,条理清晰,由易到难过程中重难点突出,以问题的形式正确引导学生学会阅读的方法。限时阅读,有利于调动学生的积极性,提高阅读效率,在提问过程中,大部分学生能积极举手参与。本堂课出色地完成了教学任务,时间把握较好,特别是适时的进行了理想前途教育。教学永远是缺憾的艺术,在处理最后的练习时,处理不太恰当,不及如期所料的效果。
